● We are releasing a model of the N700S Shinkansen "Nozomi," the latest trainset for the Tokaido Shinkansen line.
● Developed by JR Central as their next-generation standard Shinkansen model, the N700S entered service between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka in July 2020.
● Known as "Supreme"—signifying the pinnacle of the N700 series—this model represents the first full-model change for the Tokaido Shinkansen in 13 years.
● Building upon the previous N700A model, the N700S offers further improvements in stability, safety, comfort, and convenience. It incorporates cutting-edge technology, including a shorter braking distance during earthquakes, enhanced snow-accumulation prevention, an emergency battery-powered propulsion system, and a full-active vibration control system.
● The model accurately reproduces the distinctive "Dual Supreme Wing" nose design—characterized by sharp, raised edges along the sides—as well as the unique headlight assembly and the gold-accented side symbol mark.
● Equipped with KATO’s proprietary car-body tilting mechanism, the model realistically replicates the inward-leaning motion seen on the actual train when navigating curves.
● The lineup includes an accessible 4-car Basic Set, 4-car Add-on Set A, 8-car Add-on Set B, and a Starter Set.

● Based on the J3 trainset, as it appeared in 2020 while assigned to the Tokyo Inspection Depot.
● Realistically reproduces the "Dual Supreme Wing" nose shape, which differs from that of the N700A.
● Accurately replicates the gold-accented side symbol mark.
● Features details such as the blue stripe that wraps from the sides to the front, and the unique underfloor cover configuration.

● Equipped with KATO’s proprietary tilting mechanism, which replicates the inward-leaning motion of the train body when navigating curves—just like the actual train.
● Features a power unit with a flywheel for smooth, stable operation.
● Includes head and tail lights (using white LEDs), designed to replicate the appearance of the actual train’s dual-lamp (upper and lower) lighting configuration.
● DCC-friendly.
● The 4-car Add-on Set A case is designed to accommodate both the 4-car Add-on Set A and the 4-car Basic Set.
