Product Description
The 15° Crossing Track (X15 L/R) is used where a track branches off from a main line by crossing it at grade. Depending on the direction in which the branching track intersects the main track, it is available in either a left (L) or right (R) configuration.
In Unitrack crossing tracks, the intersecting rails are electrically independent of one another; therefore, no special wiring or "gapping" (creating electrical insulation) is required for the crossing track itself. Furthermore, the non-powered sections of the rails are kept as short as possible to ensure that rolling stock can pass through smoothly.
