Gradual Incline Pier Set

● Use in combination with the Inclined Pier Basic Set.
● Use to support the middle sections of single-track elevated curved tracks (R348-45) or to realistically replicate pier spans.
Usage Instructions
● KATO's UNITRACK elevated system allows for the easy assembly of a stable elevated layout through the use of S-Joiners.
● Insert these piers between existing supports when using long straight sections or large-radius curves (such as R348-45°) on an incline, or when you wish to shorten the span between piers for a more realistic scene.
(1) The diagram at the top of the package back shows an example of a standard incline setup using five elevated track sections.
(2) The resulting gradients are approximately 4% for 248mm straight track, 5.4% for 186mm straight track, 4% for R315-45 curved track, and 4.5% for R282-45 curved track.
(3) You can also use these in conjunction with separately sold S-Joiners to create a gentler gradient.
(4) Because the gradient becomes too steep, 124mm straight track and 62mm elevated track cannot be used to create an incline simply by using these inclined piers as-is.
