JNR freight car Re12000 type

The Re12000 is a two-axle refrigerated freight car that appeared in 1954, and including cars that were converted from the Re10000 type, there were 1,841 cars in service, the most of any refrigerated car.

Due to its good cooling performance and the fact that it was used during the peak period for transporting fresh fish, it was frequently used as a refrigerated car at the time.
