JR EH800 Electric Locomotive (New Color Scheme)

The EH800 series was developed based on the EH500 series to operate on the section shared by the Hokkaido Shinkansen and conventional lines through the Seikan Tunnel—a configuration necessitated by the opening of the Hokkaido Shinkansen in the spring of 2016. Consequently, the roof-mounted equipment is designed to be compatible with both Shinkansen and conventional line systems.

● Replicates the current appearance: the JRF logo has been removed, and the underfloor equipment and pilot (skirt) are now colored to match the gray trim at the bottom of the locomotive body.
● Bogies are colored to match the gray trim at the bottom of the body.
● Equipped with a constant-lighting circuit board for the headlights.
● Headlights utilize warm-white LEDs.
● Uncoupling levers come pre-installed as separate parts.
● Vertical front handrails are included as separate parts.
● JR logo is pre-printed.
● Number plates included as separate parts (EH800-1, 5, 7, 9).
● Features power pickup from all axles.
● Features all-axle drive.
● Signal flares, whistles, and radio antennas included as separate parts.
● Dummy coupler and automatic-type TN coupler included.
