JR Series 225-100 Suburban Train Basic Set

The Series 225 is a new type of electric train that debuted in 2010.
The 100-series, introduced in 2016, features a redesigned front end and is available in both 4-car and 8-car configurations.
The 700-series—featuring "A-Seat" paid reserved seating for Special Rapid services—was introduced during the timetable revision of March 2023.

● Fall-prevention gangway curtains for the leading cars are separate parts; two types are included: one for when the car is at the front of the train and one for when it is coupled to another unit.
● A full 12-car train configuration can be recreated by combining this set with the <98546> 4-car add-on set and the <98544> 4-car "A-Seat" set.
● The front destination display uses interchangeable, pre-printed parts; replacement parts are included.
● Car numbers are pre-printed.
● Headlights and taillights use white LEDs; fog lights illuminate in orange.
● Headlight and taillight circuits feature a constant-lighting function and an ON/OFF switch.
● Leading cars are equipped with TN Couplers (SP) on the cab end.
● Motor unit features a flywheel drive system.
● Uses a new power pickup system and silver wheels.
