The transport of gasoline by rail began with direct, point-to-point operations in 1967. Even today, trains consisting of numerous tank cars remain in service across the Kanto, Tohoku, and Chubu regions.
Some of these trains feature a mix of Taki 1000 and Taki 43000 series cars, sometimes even combined with container wagons, resulting in a diverse range of train compositions.
